I have been a Quicken user for more than 20 years now. Problem is, the only usable version of Quicken is the Windows version. I currently use a Mac and have an entirely separate Windows computer only for Quicken. How to Run Quicken 2007 After Upgrading to Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion). Running Quicken for Windows on a virtual machine would probably be the easiest solution, but I am just irked at the thought of giving any more money to a company that cares so little about its users.
Q: The only hesitation I have about switching to the Mac concerns Quicken. I have used that program on Windows for over 20 years. All the reviews on the Mac version are less than favorable.

If I install Windows on the Mac, would I still be able to run my current Quicken program? When you install Windows on a Mac, using Apple’s Boot Camp utility, the Mac is turned into a full-fledged Windows computer, whenever you choose. So Quicken — or any Windows program — should work fine. If you install Windows in a virtual machine program, such as Parallels, you should also be able to run your Quicken software.
Q: When I am using Google Chrome on my computer, there is no icon for printing on the page. What do I do? A: Click on the icon at the upper right that looks like a stack of short lines. It opens a menu of options that includes one labeled “Print.” Click on that and you should be able to print.
